Encore free channels -- expired offer?
ADVERTS 1
Hi all-
Does anyone know what happened to the 'extended' Encore channels (like ENCRW, ESUSP, ect)? I've never paid for them -- I thought they came with the HS Platinum package?
Or I vaguely remember Encore announcing they were giving away the channels for their 30th anniversary or something. Did that offer finally expire? I still see the main ENCOR channel... just none of the others...
Thanks for your input.

Encore East is available in HD only to 250 customers, because their isn't an Encore West HD on Dish.

No, the SD channels such as the Western channel never came with that package, they are part of the Top250 package, or A La Carte.

Like I expected this is due to the end of the 30 year anniversary promo... They put up a channel about it... I'm still getting Starz channels though which seems weird.

Encore (340) SD + HD is also included as part of Starz. It is also included in Dish America Gold (at least the HD version is).
