Dish 1000 setup
ADVERTS 1
I curently am looking at re-doing my dishnetwork setup. currently i have this
input tv2 output
Dish 500 -------DP33 swtich -----------522----------splitter----all other
Dish at 148 ------- ----------- tv outlets
I want to have this
input tv2output
D1000-------------------Diplexer-----------Diplexer----SBC ----back
Square Shooter Antenna-- ----mediaportal fedto
same
line
So basically I want to know if you can have the dp1000 signal and a diplexed antenna on the same line which is split by a dpp seperator for a two tuner receiver then backfeed an rf output (like chanel 80) back on the same rg6 line that it came down from?

There are Dish Network approved diplexors that you can purchase at your local retailer.

You can run into trouble trying to combine OTA and a TV2 backfeed on the same line.
There are several pitfalls. I'd avoid it unless 100% impossible (not just hard) to avoid.
