ADVERTS
Yep I have spoken with them alot in the past, even revealing all that I do and can see when stuff is changed, talking to them about 1280x1080i and everything
they assured me that all Voom would be going to 1920x1080i eventually, this was back in sept. last time I spoke with them, obviously that was not the case
I have emailed them when audio errors started on Showtime HD before and they have confirmed and fixed them
all in all Dish Quality conversations have been great

This is why I hope Voom 21 ends up on my cable system (but I'm not holding my breath). Even those few channels I have in common between cable and Dish (ESPN HD, DHD, HDNet etc.) look a little better on cable.

I think they must be planning to be adding 2 HD channels to those 4 channels that are 2 / TP. And since dish has some pre-conceived notion that they can't have 3 HD channels with 1920 x1080i on a transponder, they lowered the res to 1280. I say all that cause if you look at table layout the put up for the 11 ghost channel the 129 and 61.5 channels do not match up, so those will probably change and 2 channels will join the monsters annd animania transponers, since 21 channels fits evenly at 3 channels / tp

This HD Lite is like a disease that won't go away. On DirecTv I do not watch any HD channels for this same reason and now that VOOM is going the HD Lite route it just makes me mad because there's no other service provider who can give me what I pay for. I am still emailing people I know from every angle possible and directing them to this thread to let them know how we customers feel about being cheated of true HD programming.
I suggest you all to keep sending emails an complaint about this. The more 'they' hear hopefully the more 'they' will pay attention. I won't give up yet. I will keep the good fight.

I still have 2 C-band dish's in my yard , both need dish movers and new receivers as I don't get 4dtv and would need a sidecar for HD, but if I have to I will...

I dropped an "email of concern" to dishquality, citing that my VOOM channels don't look quite as good as they did before. And stating that picture quality is very important to me.
I'm not going to cancel Dish immediately because of this. I think it is better to lobby for a change. Our best chance to get all of the VOOM channels in high res is through Dish.
