When will we not need a second dish to get Vooom
ADVERTS
Hi:
I'm an old Voomer, who started up with E*in May. I wanted to add Voom, but I have a OTA antenna and dish on my house now and I really don't want to add a third object to my roof.
When will we be able to get Voom on the same satellite as everything else? I did see in other posts that were messing the pic quality, but it looks like that may have stopped.
Thanks!
Dave

If you buy a Dish 1000, you will only have 1 dish on your roof. But then if you are in an area where you can't get signal from 129, you will most likely be out of luck for a while!!

Check the Dish 1000 footprint map here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/showpost...1&postcount=71 (Updated Dish 1000 Info)

It's never going to be on 110 or 119 - which are the TWO satellites where "everything else" is - as long as you ignore a lot of local markets and international programming. When will we be able to get Voom on the same satellite as everything else?
E* currently has active programming on SEVEN satellites - 61.5, 105, 110, 119, 121, 129, and 148. They also have rights to 157, and are working on a few other slots, too.
