cheapest way to upgrade to dish 1000
ADVERTS
I called dish today and they said it would be 59.99 to upgrade my dish 500 to a dish 1000 (so that I can get voom stations). Is this the cheapest way, or should I wait until the new receivers come out and get the 611 and the dish 1000 at the same time. I currently have an 811 and a 510, and I will trade the 510 for the 611 in Feb.

That sounds like a very good deal for a dish 1000 since the 2 LNB's alone cost about $60.

the cheapest way to get a dish 1000 is if you have locals on 129w then you can get the dish free.
