New receivers = less compression "noise"?? ADVERTS 1
From a previous thread I put up, it seems that I have a problem with the compression "noise" in my picture.
Since new receivers are on the way due to MPEG4, do you guys think this won't be as big a problem anymore, or will it get worse? It really drives me nuts.

No way to know at this time. It all depends on how much they compress to gain bandwidth. Knowing E*, I would NOT expect any improvements.
