Extra Work for Adding a Dish Receiver?
ADVERTS 1
I currently have Dish 500 system with only one receiver (6000). (I actually have a second receiver (4900) but it isn't used.)
When I set up an appointment for my new 811 to be installed I told them that I wanted to just replace my 6000.
But now I'm having second thoughts and am thinking of calling Dish and telling them that I want a second receiver added upstairs. My understanding is that Dish will pay for the installer to wire the second outlet upstairs. Does Dish have to add some sort of switch on my satellite dish also? If so, my understanding is that it would also be covered in the install.
Thanks
Jeff

all depends on what hardware you have now (dual legacy, twin legacy)
and what the installer will use(what he has and what you need)
and E* will probably do it free, ask them
