    Selling receiver / new account

    ADVERTS 1
I want to sell one of my receivers to someone. What do I need to do?

Do I just call E* and deactivate it off my account and have them call to re-activate it in their name?

Also, does E* require a credit card for a new account?

I'm not sure they have one. If they don't have a card is there another way to activate a new account?

Dish does not require a credit card. You need to tell them you want the receiver "released" from your account.

You have to make sure that you had your bill paid in full so that there is no "balance" on the account.

I'm on auto-pay so how exactly do I make sure the bill is paid?
