Program Information on Digital OTA Channels
ADVERTS 1
I am new to Dish and new to 622 DVR. My question involves the lack of program information on channels received by OTA antenna. Is this feature not available on OTA channels ??
The program info is available on the OTA channels on DirecTV.
Is this feature available on SAT. OTA channels on DISH??
Using the info search mode for sport program one OTA channel was shown to have a football game at 8:00 pm with no other info available. This shows that some info is available so what not give all the program info ??

Is it possiable to get DISH to give you the info on OTA channels ?? Surely if they have the info available it wolud be cheap not to let us have it for free. Or are we being cheap not to pay $5 more for program info ???

There's actually a lot involved, they are having to add "virtual channels" to the locals packages so that the OTA subchannels will eventually be included with valid guide info, so maybe it's worth the $5/month. Patience!
