I'd have to disagree. Dish's MPEG4 encoders are HORRIBLE, causing huge amounts of motion blur and killing small object detail... it almost makes live action look animated. I'd gladly take 8mbps mpeg2 over 15mbps mpeg4 (until they get better mpeg4 encoders, of course). The people stuck with the mpeg4 versions are getting the shaft. Originally Posted by HokieEngineer
