622 Gurus: Can I get rid of Information Boxes?
ADVERTS 1
I have trouble receiving my OTA signal. (I'd like to get a better antenna, but that's a whole other story!) While watching my recorded OTA programs, I tend to get a LOT of the Information 316 messages where it says something to the effect of "Part of the recorded program is lost due to signal strength". The program dropout isn't all that bad most of the time. It's very managable. The annoying thing is these Information boxes that pop up and require me to hit "Okay" or wait a second or two. They even stop my commercial skipping.
I've searched the entire menu setup info and can't find any way to disable these messages. Are there any 622 experts out there that know of a way for me to fix this?
Thanks.

Nope, no way to get rid of it. I agree, 1 pop-up would be sufficient. It can get really annoying when you have several losses of signal.
