Animal Planet is one HD channel that has lots of Wife Acceptance Factore (WAF)...just need Lifetime Movie Network HD which, after the New Years Day 2006 dispute, probably won't happen.

I also noticed the weird cropping on the non-HD shows. The shows on Discovery HD that are HD look awesome though. Dirty Jobs, Build It Bigger, etc.

Dish needs to fix..

the aspect ratio on the new channels. Did a quick check before leaving for work this morning. Channels were on but they are not in the correct aspect ratio compared to other HD channels. There is about a 1" black bar on the left and right side of my Sony.
Scott, call some of your buddies and find out when they are going to fix this problem .

Not for me. Looked great. In fact, aspect ratio was wider than 16:9.
