How can I set my DVR to record the game if the guide isn't updated before I leave? | I forced a guide update with a check switch, and the Saturday games show up in the guide for 439 and the other SD alternates, but not 9467. Any ideas?

I'm really glad to get the BTN.
However I think the long-term plan is a worst-case scenario for those living outside of the B10 states.
Subs living in a B10 state, will be getting a channel that may cost E* as much as $1.10/month/sub for free.
Subs living outside of the B10, will have to pay $5/month to buy a sports tier in order to get a channel that E* is paying about $0.10/month/sub.

It won't be the end of the world if I have to record the SD on 439 (especially since I wasn't going to be able to see the game at all until today's most pleasant surprise), but of course I'd rather get the HD version. Thanks for the suggestion .

Am watching Appalachian State vs Michigan right now. Video quality is fairly good for SD.
Am loving it.

Outstanding
They will now keep me and probably have me re-up with new HD DVR for bedroom.
Thank you E*!!!

And you don't have to buy it year round if you don't want to. It would be worth the $5 fee to cancel even just for the summer.

hopefully this shuts down espn gameplan and we can get all the major conferences out-of-market on the sportspak for 5.99 a month.

I just wish the picture wasn't crushed to SD-Lite bit-rate and resolution! It may take a while to get the channel tuned.
I'm glad that Dish picked this up, but as some other people have mentioned, there will be hell to pay come February. Good thing I'm locked-in with the DVR Advantage.
And just in time to watch Michigan go down to Appalachian State. Heh-heh-heh...
