Commitment does not matter.

Ditto...can the "Sports" package be ordered with the HD Standalone package?

Woo hoo. I'm there! But i hope that any additional channels that E* adds also get added to this package by default. i.e. SciFi HD, USA HD, etc.

I think I'll go with this and the HD locals, and drop the AT250 and Multi-Sport package.

When college football starts up again, maybe I'll add AT100+ for the HD RSNs.

That's the problem, you don't know what E* will or won't do. The only channel that I am missing right now that is out of the HD package as of today (that I can quickly think of) is SciFi...
I will wait until it is added and then seriously consider dumping the AEP, then look at possibly a couple premiums if the above mentioned "premium' HDs don't materialize for $9.99 a month..
