Welcome to SatelliteGuys Retailer Chat Recap for Thursday July 10, 2008. As always we will give you the information of the chat which is of interest to you the consumer.

We do not dicsuss dealer sensitve issues here such as costs and profits, if you want to talk about those things then please visit our sister site at http://www.dishretailer.com

This is a live recap, however I am watching via a Slingbox which allows me to pause and rewind so that I can grab screen captures, this means some of the live recap might be delayed a few minutes.

Thanks for being SatelliteGuys and enjoy todays coverage. I am expecting some exciting news today!

They talk about HD locals and put up slides of new HD locals coming by the end of the month and other HD locals which will launch this summer. Dish will be covering 70% of the country with HD locals.

They then talk about the Digital Transition and push the DTV Pal box.

Still talking about the Digital Transition and pushing the DTVPal.

Notice behind her is a big dign that says "TurboHD, The only 100 HD service" HMMM....

Jessica is going over marketing materials for the digital conversion.
