I don't recall, but isn't there supposed to be the same EHD support for the 222 receiver as well as the 211?

Yes, but try to activate it. Dish can't sort out 411 EHD activation yet, after a few days of beginning.

I thought I read that the 222 would not be supported at this time, maybe I'm wrong.

Perhaps the software words differently for the 222 than it will on the 211 due to the dual tuners. It is going to be more complex.

The 222 will have to have three more streams, an extra buffer stream, an extra record stream and an extra play stream, all for the extra tuner and output on the 222.

SAT/OTA channel is not buffering if you not tune on it. So, only two delay buffers.
