| | | FCC DID IT AGAIN
SPOKE TO ALL-AMERICAN DIRECT EARLIER TODAY AND WAS INFORMED THAT I LOST THE NEW YORK AND LA FEEDS FOR LOCALS. I CAN ONLY GET SAN FRANCISCO. THEY HAVE SF FOR 3.49 A MONTH IN SD AND LA IN HD FOR 9.99 EACH CHANNEL. I ASK ABOUT THE CHANGES AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FCC CHANGED THE LAW. SO I GOT ON THE FCC WEBSITE AND SUBMITTED THIS COMPLAINT.
I HAVE LOCAL CHANNELS FROM NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES. AS OF JUNE 12, 2009, ALL-AMERICAN DIRECT INFORMS ME THAT THE LAW CHANGED AND I CAN ONLY HAVE SAN FRANCISCO. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF DISH NETWORK SINCE JULY 1997. IN THAT TIME I HAD FOX REMOVED, THEN ALL LOCALS REMOVED AND FINALLY IN MARCH, I GOT 3 OF THE FOUR LOCALS THROUGH ALL-AMERICAN DIRECT. THIS HAS BEEN A LONG PROCESS. I KEEP HEARING THAT THE FCC IS DOING THIS. I HAVE CALLED YOU IN THE PAST AND NO ONE IS AWARE OF THESE CHANGES. I WOULD LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO CALL ME CC THESE CHANGES AND EXPLAIN WHICH LAW IS BEING CHANGED THIS TIME. WHY, IN 2009, THAT I HAVE TO HOOK UP RABBIT EARS AGAIN TO A 50 INCH PLASMA TELEVISION? ALSO, WHY IS MY FREEDOM OF CHOICE TAKEN AWAY FROM IN AMERICA? WHY CAN I NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNELS I WANT, INCLUDING NEW YORK? WHY AM I ONLY ALLOWED TO SUBSCRIBE TO SAN FRANCISCO BECAUSE NEW YORK IS IN THE EAST COAST AND I LIVE IN THE CENTRAL TIME ZONE?
ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, BESIDES SUING THE FCC.

The only complaint I have is the Price of All American HD Channels.
But thats where freedom of choice comes in.
I can Choose not to buy them.

AAD said I could keep my SD (both coasts) channels, so long as there is no change to my account. But even if I had to change my credit card, that would cause the new rules to apply. Sounds a bit over the top.

I can't understand why ADD changed on the OP? Nothing that any of us knows changed since they became available.
Maybe when he calls them he starts to scream just like he did here.

PS.. This should have been posted in the ADD thread. Maybe it should be moved?
