Spike starts the chant:

FIBER OPTICS, FIBER OPTICS! Bring it on....

Could it be that the 129 satellite is so poor that they had to do this in order to get all of the VOOM channels on that satellite. Otherwise there is really no reason for this.

I changed some switches around so I could check 129 also, I will see if they are still identical mirrors of 61.5

99% sure they still are though

so far I see the headers are different on 129, all Voom headers on 129 read 18 Mbps instead of 16 Mbps listed on 61.5

this is useless info though, but I don't know why they would be different if they are exact mirrors

Good lord...the channels look like crap now.

I fired off my email about it, though it probably won't do much good if they've already struck this deal over resolution.

Could you next time provide at least satellite position to your reports ?

Check to make sure your browser doesnt auto resize images. If you right click and save as, they should be 1920x1088. I had the same problem with IE resizing them and getting 1114x631.

All the voom caps came from 61.5, I briefly looked at 129 but they looked the same. Gary, I did notice the discrepancy with the headers, but like you said that doesn't really mean much.
