Does this mean all the cities listed in this post : LINK would be available? Plus a lot more, right?
Looking for Tulsa, and somehow, I just don't have faith. | The key word is CAPACITY.

RE: Capacity word
the postings in this thread regarding capacity are true but D* has the one up on E* in the carriage agreement category. E* seems to always have lagged in getting the agreements or forking up the $$$ (i.e. MLB deal) to get the deals done. E* has more capacity right now for addtl HD stations but hasn't paid the $$ to get the agreements right?

Note that this is a summary - a very good summary - but Charlie said a lot more about MLB-EI, External USB Drives, and HD quality and capacity than is listed above. Nothing that one has not read on SatelliteGuys before, but it included some confirmations of what we have read.

There was always a "sliding scale" for Dishin It Up to a 622, from $149 to $199, depending on how long you have been with Dish and how much you spend.
If you have been with them for a number of years, or you subscribe to AT250 and Premiums, you should be able to get your CS phone rep to give you the $149 price.
It would make sense that the publicized price is "$199", so that recent subscribers or AT100 subscribers don't say "but the price on the Chat was less!".

Why should it take a whiny or otherwise aggressive phone call to get a special price or special treatment? That was the biggest thing I always loved about E*. The price was set in stone. No backing down. No capitulating. And now they're turning into the very same thing I hated dealing with (as a customer) or hearing about (as a tech). Last week I did a 622 upgrade for a customer who complained enough that he got a 622 for $89 (!!!!!) AND he was getting the $10/month for 10 months discount. Worse...he was STILL b***ing that it was too much.

Charlie stated that there would be 6-8 nationals coming online this year and that E* was in talks with most of them. He also said that some channels coming were just talking heads and wouldnt offer much.
SmithsonianHD is one Im very interested in and he mentioned it last night, they are making an HD only channel.

I liked Charlies answer on the 100 channels... I have both providers, but right now Dishnetwork has the channels and the picture quality, DirecTv has Sports and thats about it...

I agree, and Charlie's comments on the '100' were great. I'm still looking for mojo though
