New software

I got new software today. Not sure of the number, but I get a Folder for my External Hard Drive at the top of my Dvr Recordings directory. It's kind of nice instead of Going to USB Storage, etc.

I noticed this as well - it is a great addition, however after I changed my display of recorded events to a 'flat view' (not sorted into folders), the folder for my external drive went away AND there were no listings for any of the programming on the external drive in my list.

I didn't have time to play with it, to see if sorting by folder will bring my drive's folder back. Can anyone check this out?

Spence

Getting the USB folder displayed on the DVR list is a nice, small convenience, but being able to sort the programs on the USB list itself is what I've been waiting for. With over 200 events in my list, sorting through it is a real pain. Also annoying is when you are finished viewing a recording, the list starts from the top instead of where you left off...

The only downside is the inability to hide 'questionable' programming from the wife.

My software is 5.10 and it is a 622 receiver. I haven't noticed anything else, but I haven't had time.

L5.10 here on my 622 as well. Have noticed a few things (channels change a tad faster, except to 2-digit locals, which is the same as it's always been). the USB folder. Not anything else that's popping out at me at the moment...

Have you seen anything to disable this popup? I think this is the one that pops up when you press TV on the remote control.
