Two 508 recievers remotes changing both

Sponsored Links
I have two 508 receivers and two exact same remotes. They change channels on both receivers when used. My wife doesn't like me to change her channels.

Will two 6.3 or 6.4 remotes work? If so how do I change the frequency on the receiver to match the 6.3 remote.

Is there a tread that discusses this? I tried but couldn't find one.

easiest thing to do is change the remote address for one of them

Here is how to change it
-which ever receiver you want ot change, bring up the system info screen. The remote may have a button otherwise it is menu 6-1-3
-press and hold down the "sat" button on the remote until all lites blink. release button. sat button will continue to blink
-change address to something else. Right noe it may be at "1"...change it to something between 2-16 (it might go higher).....press the numbers (say you want 10...press 1 then 0) then press #...the remote will blink 3 times
-press the "record" button....now what ever number you chose will show on the screen under "remote address"

thats it

Do you need UHF control? If not, removing the small antenna from behind the receivers is the simplest and quickest solution. Of course, now you will need to point the remote at the receiver.
