72 v110 question

My vip211 receiver at home is set to receive on the eastern arc. (sat. 72 etc)

I was just given a dish with LNB's for 110 and 119 I would like to use in my RV.

Can I use this setup in my RV and set the receiver to accept 110 and 119 or will I need to buy a dish for the eastern arc?

The dish I was given is a 500 if that matters.

I'm in central PA.

It will work, but you won't have a lot of HD channels.

Perform a Check Switch at menu-6-1-1 each time you move the receiver to the other dish.

You can use the Dish 500 you were given to view any 2 Dish satellites that are approximately 10 degrees apart, 110 and 119, 119 and 129, even 61.5 and 72.

The 119/129 and 61.5/72 combos will get you the most HD because the primary HD satellites are 129 and 61.5.

And remember that check switch.

Would the skew settings stay the same if you were using a dish 500 to hit 61.5 and 72?

another newbie question

With the dual head lnb do I need an SW21?

The lnb head has a connection marked 110 and a seperate one marked 119. As given to me, there is only one cable coming off of the 119 port.

I ran the existing cable to the receiver but can not tune in both satellites.
