I have a 522 and a VIP722, with the 722 hooked to my phone line. We are thinking of droping our home phone and going all cell phone, so how do I keep from paying the charge for no phone line? Any way to hook them up to my internet? I have cable internet so I have ethernet capability.
You can hook the 722 up to the Internet via the Ethernet port on the back of the receiver. That will keep you from paying the 5.00 A/O fee (or phone line fee). The 522 can only connect via phone line, but your OP indicates it's not connected anyway so it wouldn't matter.
