| | What would happen if a new (blank) larger partitioned drive were placed in a functioning unit and those key commands were entered? Hmmm...
Guess I'll keep waiting till external USB drive support appears... just hoping it's this year. I'm tired of constantly having to free up space to record more shows.

Hm... I think I'd take off the UHF antenna from the back of my 622 in case someone gets the idea to drive around the neighborhood doing that remote sequence. Yikes!

yeah, i tried this on my 625 when i got my 622 in the mail. nothing happened, i got so diagnostics, then info... nothing wlse happened. i tried may time, and i triple checked that i was hitting the right buttons. nothing happened.. sorry for the bad news
