If I recall correctly, the SEC league office commented when the BTN originated.

The comment was basically that the SEC was exploring HD possibilities for the SEC schools. It is difficult when the existing TV packages are pretty lucrative, as they are for the SEC.

I have on occasion thought some SEC teams were overrated; on further reflection, I have decided I was wrong about that. (Go KY, TN, and Vandy!)

Last year I only remember one or two of LSU's game in SD.

Same with Bama. the SEC is actually pretty lucky when it comes to HD. ESPN usually picks up SEC's top games and CBS sometimes has 2 a week. the worst part about SEC on TV is how atrocious the Lincoln Financial coverage is. it's almost like a punishment
