They shouldn't be. Counting Regional Sports Networks as national HD channels is a joke. Then again, I'm just jaded by the lack of FSNBA in HD.

Actually, CBS has first pick over ESPN.
The SEC is the only conference with an exclusive contract with a major OTA network to show it's games. All the others are shared with ABC, except Notre Dame who is on NBC.

The SEC makes big bucks on that CBS contract, which makes it doubtful that they'd make an SEC Network, unless it's ran by CBS.
