Why would they put them on a new channel for a preview? I thought they stopped doing that a long time ago.

Channels are 17 above than current assignment and overlap other HD channels. 362 is HDNET for example. Could additional premiums be coming?

Last I heard less than 40% of those who own HD sets subscribe to HD service. Until HD is no longer premium and becomes "standard", better than half will continue to be SD only subscribers, so launching an SD channel today will be profitable if you put content on people will watch.
