Yeah, my family can now watch the major networks in HD in the Richmond/Petersburg, VA now that they have moved to Sat 129. We could not receive them on 61.5 because of the trees.

Does anyone know where those international channels removed from 148W went? I'm missing my channel 900 Euronews... I called Dish today and customer service was no help to me. In fact they didn't know anything about channel or satellite move.

    118.7 map in Alaska

    You'll need a Plus dish.

Re WSWS: Pappas probably mandated this carriage. It's technically separate, whereas something like K26AA (random calls) won't get in.

Still there at tp7...huh? Yes, it should be there but I get nothing from that satellite. None of transponders send any signal and none of my receivers find 148w at all, in fact it is totally RED on system info screen. Thanks guys anyway. I'll hook up signal meter to line tomorrow and see if my wiring has failed or whatever...

E5 replaced E1 last week at 148 and the footprint may not cover AK anymore.

Yep, today I finally talked with someone at Dish who had complete information; old E1 is replaced with E5 and tp7 does not cover AK anymore, neather in 118.7 where Euronews is on tp5. So, I cancelled my subscription. Life moves on...
