shuffle shuffle shuffle, move move move... Looks like they are busy playing with their new satellite. More TPs going 8PSK, they are going to have a *lot* of capacity at this location. Especially when when DIRECTV starts to hand over the even TPs.

What's up it these Removal of channels like LMN, Fuse, CI, VS, BIO, HIST & WE? Are these just duplicate channels or did they get rid of these channels?

Looks like they moved a lot of channels off of 77 sat and consolidated them on 72.7 sat because of the bandwith savings from switching to 8psk. Now that would leave a lot more space on 77 for something else:Locals?

Like Hist, VS & all those ones. I have 110, 119 & 61.5. They removed stuff from those satellite in this uplink.

Josh | Those 6000's shouldn't affect you at all. If they were the 94xx range that would be a different story. Quote:

I suspect we will see more consolidation over the next few days, looks like everything is doing fine with this bird...awesome!

Wonder if they were "test" channels or part of a forgotten package. Everything being dropped is in the 6000's, are there any packages that have national cable networks and get the channels in the 6000's?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Josh | I'm not sure what they were for, I don't recall anyone seeing them on their receiver. They were simply duplicates numbers mapped to same video streams. Technically they didn't remove the channels themselves, just the duplicated numbers in the mapping. Nothing to worry about...

Don't know of any programming packs that have history international, bio, hallmark movie channel, id, vs, gac, we, fuse, ifc, ci, amc, lifetime movie net as their line up.
actually if that was a "welcome pack 'B'" it's really not a bad line up.
if you want to speculate: I think all of the rainbow channels are listed there. perhaps they were anticipating a rainbow take down and the other (non-rainbow) channels listed would have been used to take their place during a dispute?? Dispute's averted no need to keep the placeholders in tact? = again just WILD SPECULATION not tied to any proof whatsoever...
