No Uplink Today

I have received word that is no scheduled uplink for today. The uplink is still on holiday lockdown mode.

Next weeks uplink will be the slate channel that tells E* subs of the new price increase

Aren't there some international channels scheduled to be available jan 1? Have those been pushed back too?

Channel 102 lists a number of upcoming free previews.
12/30-1/25: Encore E & W, Westerns, Action, Mystery, Drama, Love, Wam
12/30-2/1: WE tv, IFC, Hallmark, Hallmark Movie Channel
1/1-2/1: Oxygen, Bravo
1/6-2/1: Investigation Discovery, Military Channel
1/17-2-1: Tennis Channel

Making a channel a free preview is usually not an uplink change. It's a change to the channel flags that indicate what package it belongs to.

Unfortunately, it looks like those of us in the Macon, Ga area will see 2 changes this coming Saturday morning as the company that owns Fox 24 and ABC 16 is still in a pissing match with Dish over a new contract. The old one expires at midnight, Friday night. So, unless they reach a last minute agreement, those channels will be turned off.
Hopefully, they'll reach an agreement and Dish can finally turn on the HD for those 2 channels.
