So is this the same sat that was up there before the crap out: Echostar 8?

I dont know if it is Echostar 8 or Echostar 1 as Believe both were at the 77 location.

Doesn't E1 only do odd numbered TPs, meaning these are either E4 or E8?

E1 only does the odd, E4 has been in an inclined orbit to save the remaining fuel on board, so perhaps they had to use some fuel to bring E4 in to replace E8.

I believe Dish has to be using E-8 because there was only a small number of TPs that still worked on E-4 and the ones listed are not the ones that worked on E-4. Now it is possible that when the stuck solar array deployed a few years back that some of the TPs became active but my guess would be that did not occur.
