At first when I saw the uplink report, i thought how much capacity the 72 orb had?
I was really surprised, my curiosity took me to the list where I saw that they put 16 RSN hd channels on one tp, so it makes me believe that those are going to be part-time. It's that the case or theres's a new technology to put 16 hd channels on a tp?

8 is pretty much their limit. 16 on one TP means that 8 will show an HD game and the other 8 just show a slate. They move around the RSNs all the time depending on what games they want to show in HD.

Considering the choice transponders on EA that currently house 9, or even *10* full-time HD channels, and with resulting artifacts, I just wish someone would tell Dish that...lol.

Will these be eventually mirrored on 129? One would think that will have to happen for true CONUS coverage, if this is going to actually come available to those who qualify.
