Chicago is a dual arc city. Meaning both work but not mixed.

Well I understood that - but for example, if I was a new sub in Chicago, WHICH arc would E* install me on? Whatever the installer feels like doing, whatever I want it on, etc.?

Even in dual arc DMA's, doesn't E* have a "standard" arc they are normally supposed to use? I would think that eventually they are planning on getting ALL subs in a given DMA, on ONLY one arc or the other, no?

Some of the channels are being put in the 4000's as they are going to be moved from 61.5 to 72.7 and this is the last warning for folks to upgrade who live in an eastern arc area.

For some of the other 4000's DISH is starting to make the HD channel numbers the same for residents of Hawaii and Alaska. So that is what you are seeing there.
So are we going to see anything for PR in these latest changes
