Why would NESN HD be on both 61.5 and 72.7, both CONUS, both available? Is one temporary?

I know Root Sports Pittsburgh is on 72.7 and 129. I think Pittsburgh area gets their from the 72.7 and the Johnstown/Altoona, PA area gets it off of 129. That might be the case with that channel.

Not the case at all, notice NESN is on the same arc, on two satellites, your example is two different arcs, and NESN is also on two different arc, so actually on three satellites.
