ADVERTS
Because you say so? What a total joke.
It is so true that the courts are going to make DISH pay. Give me a break. You are totally out of touch with reality. My argument stands on very firm ground and could not possibly be any stronger.Your 'theivery' comment is untrue, and your constant stand on moral highground just makes your argument look weak. Its you and just you pretending to be 'righteous'
Thievery is wrong.

Whether a person fast forwards through the commercials or does other things while commercials are running, the end result is the same, the commercials do not get watched. So now you are going to come back and tell me that if I take a crap or make a sandwich I am stealing network TV. You are completely laughable and your arguments show severe signs of making it up as you go along.

You're right...I've not heard everything...your full of surprises...lol...

Who is a thief or murder? I don't recall your courts declaring anyone either?
The only thing proven is the existance of the uninformed righteous by which you've proven by example...

Because your commentary, as uninformed and biased as it is, stands as testimony to your lack of business acumen.
Your argument is weak because you are uninformed. (HDDirectTivo?!?)
Your argument is weak because you use emotive language to represent what you want us to consider facts.
Your argument is weak because you are building your entire case on a moral highground and not a factual one.
Your argument is weak because you are using an intellectual property courtcase to accuse someone of theivery, when at no point did the courts accuse or prosecute anyone for theivery. Thievery is your word, not theres.
Your argument is weak because its based on an emotive interpretation of the courts, and not the courts themselves.
You have no case...and have discredited yourself yet again...
That HDDirectTivo looks pretty nice uh? I thought so too...

Nice...see how you are? Here you are STEALING network television...and all of a sudden your rules change.

Perhaps you need to do a little 'more' research and uncover all the controversy surrounding Tivo and the skipping of commercials. Did you support Tivo then? Or did you condone the thievery that Tivo respresented and enabled? It looks like your moral highground is getting a little shaky here...
'righteous' indeed...
Stick a fork in him folks...he's done...

I can mostly agree with that.
I interpret this to mean that you believe the software claim is just a DISH bluff, meant to buy time to possibly be temporally saved by the Supreme court or another stay of the injunction by another court, based on the new software claims. Do I read you right? Do you believe there is no chance that DISH will not be granted another stay until the software or Supreme Court issues are sorted out?TiVo is holding the gun and won't sign anything less than a comprehensive agreement. The issue of the 622/722 will never make it to a courtroom. It will be settled at the bargaining table along with the others.
I myself think it is much closer to $300 million than $200 million because once you have owned a DVR, you never want to be without one, the defection rate will be extremely high and extremely fast.Dish stands to lose $200-$300 million each month that the specifically listed infringing models are turned off. Customers will defect and will sign multi-year contracts with competitors.
