Thread: Who will add HD next in 2009?

I was going to ask who will be the FIRST to add it in 09, but as of 6 a.m. that question was answered.

So what do you guys think? Who will be the second first?


I see Dish has a list of things announced, but no firm date.

Looks like Direct WILL be adding Comedy Central HD this month (probably this week).

Good to see. I think we will see a trickle out of channels this go round, rather than the sudden massive additions of the past, and that is fine with me

Think maybe that's the "nature of the beast"?.

First two channel adds go to Direct.

I think Direct will continue this slow add trend most of the year, adding 1 to a few channels each month. Whereas Dish will probably do one or two really big adds. This will bring both providers totals up and pretty much the same by the end of the year.

I guess it will be a next...next thread now

Does this include HD locals?.

I think it is in reference to nationals. Both providers add HD locals pretty much every week.
