Piece of mind is also nice for me, knowing that I pay less with Direct for a comparable setup with Dish, have EI (which Dish does not have), have more locals in HD (8 with Direct, 4 with Dish), and more channels within my package in HD.

AMEN!! I don't have locals in HD yet with any providers.. Well charter does, but that does not count!! I got to see NFL i will get MLB.. I have choices!! Not all people like repeats of movies over and over. Heck i have a DVR if i want to see a movie and netflix!!

The only meaningful package for those who have multiple HD receivers/DVRs is the E* everything pack, else D*'s deals will be better because they do not charge multiple DVR fees and less on the per HD/HD DVR receiver fee.

But not everyone wants to pay for the top tier.

Thats it for me in a nutshell (without the 8 locals). It would cost me more for 2 HD DVRs and a comparable packege with E* than what I have now. (last I checked anyway)

I could have 10 if I paid $6 extra. But I don't! And don't really care . HD RSN's only benifit the guy with NHL NBA and MLB sports packs. For everyone else nothing but in market games and blackouts and Paid programming.. RSN's Repeat more then any Voom channel ever did. Wow! Your lucky
