So, will directv catch up with the HD channels?or Is Direct better than DISH again

That's pretty fuzzy math your using if you think DISH has more HD available.

Dish does have more national channels. DirecTV counts blackout filled regional sports networks as national channels even though they're not available to everyone. (cue DodgerKing with a rebuttal)

I can't stand to watch anything in SD either, at least we agree on that.
