    Maybe they were just holding onto the money incase you changed your mind and wanted to come back? You know, like some web sites don't delete member info when someone asks to be deleted, just incase they want to come back

    No they took money from me after I canceled and called it a mistake and then took 8 weeks to return it. Big difference there.

    Eight weeks?! Wow. Under what circumstances would a consumer be able to delay payment for that long and not incur some kind of penalty? Never.

    Eight weeks is the standard period that they hold on to your money. They probably have a countdown clock.

    Scott- you could have had your money much sooner had you used a CC reporting of unauthorized charges procedure by contesting the charges immediately with the CC company.
