Channels Dish has that DirecTV doesn't!

Might depend on your region. I know some are upset that CST [Cox Sports Television] is not offered with DirecTV. However, I would agree with you in general though about sports. The MultiSport package from Dish is also another option for 7 bucks a month. However, like you said if you are willing to pay for sports, then yes, DirecTV is probably what the avid sports fan would want. Dish has some soccer channels, though. So, I don't know; those sports fans will just have to check out the programming and how much they want to pay.

I think both services are quite a step up from cable.

If I put my SL5 back on , I could check, But my slimline 3 LNB doesn't see the 119 and thats where 90% of the spanish channels in SD are.
