    I was comparing to the Dish dual-tv functionality - in that scenario, you can pause from either tv whether recorded or live.
    With the DirectTV offering, you can only pause when viewing recorded shows on the non-DVR TVs. From the DVR TV you can always pause/resume.
    Ok, Gotcha... that is how I understood it, but I was getting confused!! lol Thanks so much for explaining!

    From a d* HD receiver, you have to hit record, pick the Dvr, then go to List, and start the program from the recorded event on the Dvr. Nowhere close to as easy as an e* Duo DVD.
