I don't think I'd miss G4 and their ad nauseum showing of Cops re-runs, Campus PD and cut up movies. And if I want to see the wet and messy clips from the International Sexy Ladies show, well......there is the rest of the Internet.

If ala carte becomes the new reality that would almost certainly mean the demise of many channels. Considering that despite having so many channels I think the average viewer probably regularly watches only about 30 or so channels so they may elect to subscribe to only those channels that they watch, especially if these contract renewals are cause for significant rate increases.
I would watch paint drying if it were in HD, and I had several beers.
