Not on Direct. So we lost a channel that is in SD only

If you posted this a month ago, I would agree. DirecTV SD sucks to high heaven. But over the last couple of weeks, I don't know what they did, but the SD PQ has increased a lot on many channels. Some are still pretty unwatchable though

I think it's kinda funny seeing the D* subs getting so defensive about the channel loss.

I don't think I'd miss G4 and their ad nauseum showing of Cops re-runs, Campus PD and cut up movies. And if I want to see the wet and messy clips from the International Sexy Ladies show, well......there is the rest of the Internet.

I think its even more funny watching the Dish Network customers get 20+ channels dropped at once , and make it out to be no big deal! Thats Funny! And they take Charlies Side, Priceless!

Can wait to see the response when they lose another 100,000 + customers!

If ala carte becomes the new reality that would almost certainly mean the demise of many channels. Considering that despite having so many channels I think the average viewer probably regularly watches only about 30 or so channels so they may elect to subscribe to only those channels that they watch, especially if these contract renewals are cause for significant rate increases.
I would watch paint drying if it were in HD, and I had several beers.
