I'd like to get the programming in hd that you mentioned, but then I couldn't watch the Yankees! I choose by programming first, then equipment. YMMV!

American Consumer...Customer what ever, I never heard of them until Dish ran comercials ranking Dish #1 in c.s. by ACSI. I have known of JD Power for years. And they rank Directv equal or better in all their catagories than Dish.
Two different agency's rating two sat. co. with two different results. Each sat. co. will anounce they are 1# by a ratings agency, just like one car mag will say car "a" is better than car "z", however, another car mag will say the complete opposite. So pick and choose in your favor, Dish and Directv do.

It's cool... You obviously don't know everything... Nobody does... Everyone makes mistakes... Some more than others... At least you didn't say anything dumb this time... Yep, people have choices... Just think, if there was only one major sat. TV company... I don't think anyone would like that very much... Me myself, I knew about ACSI way before DISH advertised them... But that's just me... I'm sure there may be things you know more than me... But it's certainly not satellite TV, or customer service surveys...

And if you're keeping up, you'll know that the announcement from the EVP of Content, Derek Chang, was pretty much an industry first and a shot heard 'round the industry as the beginning of the end for TV distributors.
