A lot of serious changes done enough to bring down the receiver, not to expect to use EHD.

5/7/2008: 1000 Software Version L4.38 for ViP 211/DISH 411

Effective Thursday, May 8th, Engineering plans to spool a PARTIAL PHASE of software version L4.38 for the ViP 211/DISH 411 receiver. This is primarily a non-forced maintenance release available at ALL satellite locations.
At this time L4.37 and L4.38 will be the valid software versions for the ViP 211/DISH 411.

Yeah, it didn't. Sorry. They spooled some beta software for the 811s and something for the 921s.

Just an update. L438 is spooling to 154 receivers so maybe by next week they will spool their first batch to customers.

Another oddity.

The 411 has always had the same s/w as the 211. Dish's
software chart

has L451 for the 211k.

I started doing this in Aug of 2007 so my logs don't go that far back.
