    It'll never happen, and too easy to change the model to work around it.
    Actually no, since when you activate a receiver they only ever ask for R and S numbers, not model number, which means each number can only be used once. So it's maximum 4.3 billion total receivers in the system.

    It's interesting that the first batch went to the 622 receivers only and a few 722s (I don't post individual serial #s, only ranges).

    1080P Now Working Wth VOD

    I just came home and discovered 618 on my 722. Did the HDMI test and it now properly shows 1080P/24 (as well as all others) as supported. Started download of The Beast.

    Same here as far as supported formats (1080p60 and 1080p24). I tried playing a copy of the Beast I already had from a previous download and it was 1080i, so I deleted it and am downloading a new copy. One difference was that it didn't warn that my TV may not support the format - so that seems to be a good sign. With my DSL it will be at least a day until I can get a new copy downloaded though.
