How ViP211 is working with Q-BOX

    ADVERTS 1
Just for gig I tested Q-BOX and ViP211 with regular Comcast cable service, so there is no MDU and as expected the combination didn't find anything.
But, I never heard the 211 could works with Q-BOX. It does. After I connect cable from sat-input of 211 to Q-BOX, a message informed about it and asked to reboot 211. After reboot menu changed to QAM setup, System info shows the Q-BOX info, etc
    See results on pictures.

From Dish or installers or some other convenient places like flea-markets/swap-meat.

Yes 211's work with Q-Boxes, I use them all the time. What were your frequencies set to? This could be the reason why your results showed nothing.

Comcast don't provide remodulated signal from Dish satellite(s) here.

Well, when you scanned the receiver in QAM mode what were your frequencies set too?

Out of curiosity, leave the qbox hooked up to 211 however unplug the input from your wall and try to scan from 861 to 861. Then reconnect cable from wall into qbox and try to run a scan from frequencies 57-861.

I would, but I don't feel it will help because full range scan end up with empty list.

Adding pictures of the Q-BOX PCB.
