Who sells LNB's for 118.75?
ADVERTS 1
Is there anyone that sells an LNB for 118.75? I bought one off ebay that claimed that it would work but it must be a legacy since the DPP-44/VIP 722k doesn't recognize that it is attached (but boy does it drive check switch crazy). I looked on Claude's site and nothing. Looked on Sadoun's and all he displays is for the superdish. I have a 33" dish that takes FTA LNB's

I believe you have to buy the 1000 Plus AND and DP44 switch. Expensive. I'd call Dish and see what they would charge to upgrade you to international.

The ones on Ebay are usually Legacy because they were use to hack Dish Network with a DVB receiver (not a Dish receiver)
Do you need just a LNB for the 118.7? I know on EBay there was a full LNB setup. That would be the best bet. I just put in 118.7 and searched
But any of the standalone LNB's that say 118.7 were used to hack Dish NetworkWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet

I picked up one at Sadoun. It comes with an additonal (single) lnb that I put in my spare parts box.

No one sells just the single LNB
I looked at both Dish Store & Sadoun and saw the combo feed that has the "large 2 sat" LNB and the single 110 LNB. So no one just sells the 118.7 /119 LNBF alone? I have a 33" dish I wanted to use that on and already have 2 Dish 500's w/single feed setups now. I would use the 33 for the 118.7 /119 then 1 of the 500's w/single for 110 and I have a .9 meter dish on 129.
One tech question: I would use the 118.7 /119 combo into the #1 port on the DPP44 then 110 into port 2 and 129 into port 3?
BTW it is due to the fact I can't get NBC, ABC, CW in HD in my area. Would "move" to St Louis for those. Can only pick up the 1st two OTA and the 3rd isn't in HD anywhere. This way I wouldn't have to worry about missing the HD OTA only stations PBS & CW that I can't here. I would then be able to pick 2 other nets off E* sat. The PBS here isn't 24X7 here it only runs shows from 6 AM to 12 PM with no repeats.
Thanks for your help.
Just found the info on the ports that I will need to hook each LNBF to. The 500+ feed has 2 outputs 1 for 119 goes into port 1 the 118.75 goes into port 4 of the DPP44.Last edited by whatchel1; 08-23-2009 at 06:17 PM. Reason: found info on the ports to hook up

I just bought one myself this week off of Ebay. Dude said it was new, but of course it ended up being used. $50 with free shipping. I am hoping that mounting it on a 31" Fortec will be enough to help me "move" to Pittsburgh.
