If it is already a 30" just hang it up your locals are gone.

Ding ding ding... I posted the estimated coverage area above. It's not an LNB issue, cabling issue, etc. If you want those locals you'll need to go bigger than 30 inch....otherwise find some other locals.
Looking at the maps on that transponder I'd recommend at the very very very least a 100cm...but would probably go with a 120cm dish.

So here is the latest. First off, it is a 21" dish. Second, I spoke to a Dish Installer this weekend out there and she said the larger dish will not help. She said I needed to get a HD dish and receiver to go to SAT 129 and it will be fine. I guess I'm not the only one that has this problem in the area. My question is would I only be able to get SAT 129 on a HD reciever or will the 508 still pick it up? If so, I guess I would only get locals on one TV at night.

Picking up a new Dish this week. Thanks for the link Digi. You can really see why I have the problem as it is right on the edge. This weekend I was checking the signal and the best I could get was 38 during the day. Looks like SAT 129 will cover me just fine.
BTW, you didn't comment on the 508 receiver being able to receive the signals from SAT 129. Will it or do I need to get a HD receiver?
