002 error message on vip 722

I have a vip 722 receiver and I keep receiving a slate showing the numbers 002.I did a hard reset and it still does it.I checked signal strength and getting a good signal.I also checked and ran a check switch test.The slate still comes up while I am watching a program.If I hit the guide button the slate goes away and the program returns.Any ideas what it might be?

If your signal is good then its bad LNBF. Replace your LNBF. If you have 002 error message that means signal is low but if signal is good then bad LNBF

Call dish and get it free or It would cost you around $40 to $60

Do you have OTA. 722's have a bug that causes this that is apparently software related when the OTA tuner looses a signal it causes the receiver to give a 002 on sat channels

002 is the Rain Fade popup that comes up when 1 transponder is not receiving signal but other transponders on the same sat are. But you could be getting it because of the reasons stated above.

Yes I do have OTA.I will check into that . thx
