    Can this work?

    ADVERTS 1
In the RV....Using a dual tuner receiver.....hooked to the winegard dish....

Can I hook the receiver only to dish2 and use the second remote exclusively? This is for overnight stops where I don't want to put up the regular Dish.

Your question isn't very clear but here is my guess. Adual tuner receiver needs both tuners connected to the same dish. With DISH Network technology a single line can be run from a Dish Pro Plus Twin or Switch and connected to a separator to provide signal to both tuners. No other method of connecting a single cable to a dual tuner works.
